Theory is not necessary for social change

Following up on this post, a few more of my comments in Schwartz's FB IPS thread:

Some other facts on the ground are as Rifkin described, the emerging Commons movement. It's already well underway and yet virtually untouched in kennilingus circles. Rifkin adds the theoretical organization to it, as does the P2P Foundation, but this is mostly a non-academic doing by many who are enacting this new socio-economic structure that is simultaneously initiating a change to ecological (integral) consciousness in those who wouldn't know a quadrant from a zone. Nor do they need to.
