Protect Planned Parenthood

Recall this post where Planned Parenthood was cleared of any wrongdoing on the regressive manufactured baby parts scandal. Now see this from Senator Warren and consider signing the petition.

Republican Leader Mitch McConnell has scheduled a vote on the bill to defund Planned Parenthood for 5:30pm today.  Remember, that’s a vote to defund cancer screenings, birth control, HIV testing, STD treatments, and basic health care services for 2.7 million people a year. There are no federal dollars that go to help the 3% of Planned Parenthood patients who need access to compassionate and safe abortion services. This defunding is all about politics and denying women access to basic health care.

We still have a few hours to stand up, speak out, and fight back for the millions of women who depend on Planned Parenthood all across this country.
