Because that's all they'll report on. It's all about entertainment now and since Trump is an entertainer he gets lots of free press. It sells ads and that is their only concern. Anything of substance, like Clinton's proposal on mental health, is just too boring to cover and it won't sell anything. There is no longer any concern for public good, heretofore considered news, involved in our media.
