Having DHS in charge of the voter purge is worse

When Dump announced that his federal voter suppression committee was being disbanded many of us breathed a sigh of relief. But according to investigative reporter Palast, moving that responsibility over to the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) is far worse, as they can operate in the dark without public hearings and is exempt from Freedom of Information Act requests. For these reasons it was part of Kobach's plan all along to get DHS in charge of this travesty.
